All-on-4 and All-on-6: how prices are changing in Europe and Tunisia

A full fixed arch on 4 or 6 implants is still one of the most expensive dental treatments. In Europe, the bill has kept rising in recent years, driven by inflation, wages and laboratory costs. In Tunisia, prices are rising too, but far less in euros. Here are the figures, country by country, and what they mean for your budget.

All-on-4 and All-on-6: how prices are changing in Europe and Tunisia

What the price of an All-on-4 or All-on-6 covers

The price of an arch covers far more than the implants. It includes the assessment (3D scan and digital impressions), guided-surgery planning, any extractions, placement of 4 or 6 implants with their abutments, the fixed temporary prosthesis screwed in on the day, then the final prosthesis in zirconia or resin on a titanium frame, fitted three to six months later. All-on-6 adds two implants and two abutments: expect around €2,000 more per arch in Europe, and €1,000 to €1,300 more in Tunisia. Before comparing two quotes, check that they include the same steps.

Prices in Europe in 2026, country by country

The ranges below are those published by comparison sites and patient guides in 2025-2026, for an All-on-4 on one arch. They vary with the city, the practitioner, the implant brand and the prosthesis material. Above all, they don't always cover the same things: in France and Germany, the scan, the temporary or the final prosthesis are sometimes billed separately, which often takes the total above €15,000.

France€10,000 – 16,000Fees set freely, implant not covered by national health insurance
Germany€11,000 – 18,000Quotes often exclude diagnostics and the temporary
United Kingdom≈ €11,500 – 23,000 (£10,000 – 20,000)Almost exclusively private

Why European prices keep rising

European practices pass on the rise in all their costs: wages for assistants and dental technicians, rent, energy, equipment. Official statistics confirm it. According to Eurostat's price index for dental services, prices rose by about 16% in Germany between January 2022 and August 2026, and by about 16% in Italy between 2015 and 2026. In Germany, the reference prices for dental laboratories went up by 4.4% in 2025, then 4.8% in 2026. In France, implants are outside the national fee schedule: fees are set freely, the 100% Santé reform doesn't cap them and the implant itself isn't reimbursed by national health insurance. Every increase is paid by the patient and their top-up insurer.

And in Tunisia? Prices rise too, but less in euros

Tunisia isn't immune to inflation: 9.3% in 2023 and 7% in 2024 according to the National Institute of Statistics. For a European patient, part of that rise is offset by the weaker dinar: one euro bought about 3.2 dinars in 2020, around 3.4 in 2025. Implants are imported from the same major manufacturers as in Europe, and that part of the price doesn't fall. What stays much cheaper is wages, the laboratory, rent and organisation. Today, an All-on-4 costs €3,900 to €5,200 per arch at Tunisia Smile, and an All-on-6 €4,900 to €6,500.

Europe or Tunisia: the gap widens in euros

In percentage terms, prices are rising on both sides of the Mediterranean. In euros, though, the gap keeps widening, because the two markets don't start from the same level. A 10% rise means about €1,300 more on a €13,000 European All-on-4, against about €450 on a €4,550 Tunisian All-on-4. For both jaws, the difference ranges from €12,000 to €21,000 before travel costs, which come down to two return trips.

What a complete quote should include

Offers under €3,000 per arch can be found in some countries. Before comparing, always ask for: the implant brand, the material of the final prosthesis (not just the temporary), the number of stays and what each one includes, the scan and extractions, the check-ups, and the length of the written guarantee. A Tunisia Smile quote itemises each of these lines and is based on your panoramic X-ray or your scan.

An All-on-4 now costs €10,000 to €16,000 per arch in Western Europe, and the trend is still upward. In Tunisia, the same treatment, with the same implant brands, costs €3,900 – 5,200. Since the gap grows every year in euros, comparing complete quotes before deciding is well worth the time.
